Recovery time is minimal. Apart from redness at the injection site and slight swelling, mild bruising around the lips can sometimes occur, lasting a few days.
After the treatment, patients should avoid strenuous physical activity, saunas, hot drinks, and other aesthetic treatments.

When do results become visible

Hyaluronic fillers provide results that are visible immediately after the procedure, with their final shape and aesthetic outcome appearing after the swelling and bruising subside. It can sometimes take up to a month for the filler to completely settle into the skin, so it is recommended not to schedule this intervention before important events but rather 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

It is important to note that if a patient desires a drastic change in the shape or size of their lips, this should be achieved over 2 to 3 treatments spaced a few months apart to avoid complications such as filler migration.

How long do results last

The rate at which the body breaks down hyaluronic filler is individual. The softest hyaluronic filler, which is used for lips, lasts about a year. After each subsequent correction, the results gradually become more long-lasting.
